Tinge was founded by Ann Denert and Gunther Rombouts. Gunther, an engineer with over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, decided it was time to channel his expertise and passion into creating a high-quality dermocosmetic brand. Ann, an experienced marketer, joined him enthusiastically in this venture. Her vision was to build a strong brand that offers dermocosmetics that are not only healthy for the skin but also sustainable and highly effective. This vision became a reality in 2018 with the birth of Tinge. Through a premium range of natural skincare products, Tinge strives to highlight the power of nature.
Formulated by pharmacists and produced in Antwerp, Belgium
Tinge is a brand of HeW Pharma. HeW Pharma has established itself as a trusted name in Belgium, known for producing high-quality raw materials for the pharmaceutical sector and natural dermocosmetics for both the Belgian and international markets.
On the banks of the Albert Canal in Antwerp, you will find HeW Pharma, where the team of pharmacists is dedicated to discovering sustainable active ingredients and new innovations every day. The Tinge team invests significant time and effort into research and formulation.
Aqua purificata
All Tinge products are made with ultra-pure water, also known as aqua purificata. This water is free from contaminants and minerals that can irritate your skin. Aqua purificata is an essential ingredient for skincare products to ensure they are both safe and highly effective. Using aqua purificata also significantly reduces the risk of allergic reactions. HeW Pharma is one of the few pharmaceutical companies in Belgium that produces aqua purificata for commercial use.
Maximum efficiency
At Tinge, our products contain a high concentration of active ingredients, setting us apart from many other brands that sometimes contain as little as 1% active substances. You won't find unnecessary fillers in our products; on the contrary, such fillers can reduce the effectiveness of the active ingredients and even be harmful. We don't aim for minimal dosing for maximum profit; instead, we prioritize maximum dosing for optimal efficiency. We stand for quality and care about you!
The force of nature
Tinge aims for purity by using predominantly plant-based ingredients in its skincare products, making them highly suitable for sensitive skin types. While most ingredients are plant-derived, occasionally, a minimal amount of hypoallergenic synthetic substances is added when certain plant-based options aren't suitable for sensitive skin. This ensures we achieve the optimal formula for skincare. All our products undergo dermatological testing to provide optimal care with minimal irritation, even for the most sensitive skin, including infants.
Sustainability
We strive to minimize our ecological footprint in every possible way at Tinge. We prefer glass packaging, which is infinitely recyclable, and wooden lids made from sustainable wood. When plastic is unavoidable, we consistently opt for plastic made from sugarcane. Additionally, we aim to involve as many local suppliers as possible. All natural raw materials we use are accompanied by one or more international sustainability certifications. Moreover, the majority of our production is powered by solar energy.
